A favorite phrase I love to say: "The kingdom of God is at hand no matter what!"
The past two weeks we've seen lots of kingdom encounters! Here are just a few....
What do you get when you mix together a Frenchman, chastity belts, and an Indian shaman?A kingdom opportunity! It's a long story, so all I will say is, "Only in Taos, New Mexico!"
There's no better place to heal the sick than in a public restroom. A guy got healed of back and neck issues at the sink (after we all washed our hands, of course)!
A step to believe: a sweet older man limping in a hotel lobby courteously allowed me to pray a quick prayer for his arthritic knee. He then took a step to go on his way only to find no more pain. The shock and smile on his face was priceless!
We could have used a "Do Not Disturb" sign for the hotel cleaning lady. After a word of knowledge for her, she spent the next ten minutes on the 7th floor hallway next to her cleaning cart shaking and contorting as if she was getting a Holy Spirit chiropractic adjustment. Then she got up healed after over a year of chronic pain. "I didn't know how I was going to clean my seventy rooms today," she exclaimed.
As you go about your day, remember...
the kingdom of God is at hand no matter what you're doing. The kingdom is at hand on vacation, in hotels, while shopping, at gas stations, restaurants, coffee shops, public restrooms and even at church!
