Today I was taking Tyler to get a late lunch, and as I pulled up to the window, I immediately felt a sharp pain go into my elbow. At the same time, I started to feel fear, doubt, and unbelief. Even after doing power evangelism for nearly two decades, I still struggle with fear of being wrong or fear of looking like a fool. I also know that this is a kingdom clash; the enemy will always try to administer fear, doubt, and unbelief.
I pulled up to the window and asked the lady, “Excuse me, do you happen to have a problem with your elbow?” As I said it, I was bracing myself for her “no.”
She looked at me and said, “Yeah, I have problems with my elbow.”
“Are you in a lot of pain right now?”
“Yes, I am.”
“May I see your hand?” I began to speak to the pain in her elbow and commanded it to leave. I told her she would begin to experience a warmth through her body, and I asked her to move her arm around.
“I feel that warmth, and all the pain has left!”
Another car was behind me, so I wanted to be respectful of her time and knew that she was busy. I just thanked her and said, “This was the love of Jesus for you,” as I began to drive off.
Remember, the kingdom of God is at hand at Burger King! Even when you feel the grip of fear, doubt, and unbelief. Step out and take a RISK.
