Christmas came early for me. In my mailbox was my new iPhone 6+! I just had to get to the AT&T store to change my number for the new phone. While I was there, a sweet lady named Kamil and her trainee Donald helped us. As Kamil was installing my screen protector, I asked Donald, "Hey, have you been having a pain in your right shoulder?" He looked at me a little bit surprised and said he did. I asked him
More about it. He said he had been in pain for a couple months due to strain from his previous job, and the pain was about a level six.
I said, "Let me see your hand for a second." I took his hand and prayed, commanding the pain to go and releasing blessing over Donald. I asked him to move his shoulder and see where the pain was. He said it was much better. It was a two now. I asked if I could pray again, and he said yes. This time the pain completely left. He said he felt a warm feeling on his shoulder as the pain left. He was very surprised and kept saying "Amen!" Then he said, "I think I need to go back to church. Then pain is completely gone."
"That was the love of Christ for you."
He shook my hand and said, "Thank you man."
He was stunned and grateful. I don't think he was expecting one of his customers to heal his shoulder while training at his new job. But this is normal Christianity.
Remember the kingdom of God is at hand, even when you get your new Christmas present. Our job is simply to look, listen, and respond, and put Jesus on display.
