Just thinking out loud, trying to process the sifting sands and the raging storm: May the sifting sand that seems to give way to my footing and causes me to feel as though the world beneath sinks find the deep-bedded rock firmly planted that no storm or quake may shift it's immoveable stance. Jesus, you are the rock that weathers every storm and gives rest to the feebly-footed. We will all find ourselves standing on the sinking sands of doubt and feel the raging of the blackened, merciless, cold storm, but there is a rock that stands firm, even beneath the sands and storms of doubt. We can rest upon the rock of Jesus, who is able to rest in the storm and has the power to quiet it.
