Pedicures and healings!!!

As I was getting my manly pedicure done and the rest of me man-scaped (hair, eyebrows, and beard), I happened to overhear a conversation with sweet Asian lady who was getting her hair cut. She was talking about how bad her back was.

After I was done getting man-ified, I went over to the lady and said, “I overheard you saying you have a bad back. Are you in any pain right now?”

“No, because I’ve taken lots of medication.”

“Do you know if one of your leg is shorter than the other because your back locks up?”

“Yes, I think so!” she said. I asked her to sit down, and we looked her legs, and one was shorter than the other. I then asked the ladies who had cut my hair and done my pedicure to come watch.

I simply prayed for the lady’s leg to grow, and it did! I asked the lady what she felt and she said, “You pulled my leg! You pulled my leg!”

“No, I didn’t. I promise! I just prayed, and your leg grew.” Everyone could see that her leg had grown, and she had felt a pulling in her leg as it grew.

“You must give me your name and number,” she said. “I won’t go to the chiropractor any more. I will just call you.” Then she said, “I don’t have to be religious like you, right, for you to do this?”

“No, you don’t have to be religious. This was Jesus.”

Then the lady who did my pedicure said, “How did you do that!?”

“I simply just prayed for her.”

“I have neck pain, back pain, pain all over.”

“Do you want me to pray for you?”

“Yes,” she exclaimed. I had her sit down and checked her legs, and she had a shorter leg as well. As I prayed, she felt her leg grow out and her pain left from her back. “Now pray for my neck,” she said. All the pain then left her neck. “Now pray for my elbows and my wrists.” Again, all the pain left. It was a full body overhaul!

She looked at me with amazement and said, “No more pain! Zero in my back, my neck, my shoulders, my elbows, my wrist!”

“This was the love of Jesus.”

“Oh! Thank you Jesus! Thank you Brian!” Then she started speaking with a big smile in Vietnamese to the other women.

Remember, the kingdom of God is at hand no matter what, even when you are getting a pedicure. Our job is simply to look, listen, and respond and put Jesus on display with love and power.
